LIfe Coach

A life coach is one that aids their clients in improving their relationships, careers, and personal lives. They also help to clarify goals, make progress, identify obstacles, and come up with strategies to overcome those obstacles.

The life coach program is a self-paced curriculum. The program is intended to be completed in ten weeks. However, some individuals complete the program sooner while others take longer. Everyone is unique.

Positive psychology is the science and study of life’s positive qualities — well-being, happiness, satisfaction, and the ability to thrive in our day-to-day lives. The field studies what goes into building a life of purpose, rich with meaning that allows the individual to flourish.

Professional Coach

A professional coach is different than a life coach. A professional coach is one that enables their “coachee” to discover and implement professional and personal solutions to accomplish their goals in the areas of their expertise, such as nursing, medicine, law, teaching, mental health therapy, etc.

The professional coach program is a self-paced curriculum. The program is intended to be completed in ten weeks. However, some individuals complete the program sooner while others take longer. Everyone is unique.

Getting Started FAQS

You can purchase the products as indicated on the website. If we offer services, the clauses in these Terms and Conditions about “products” also apply to the services, where appropriate.

When it concerns a subscription-based product, you can make use of the purchased product during the subscription period. This may also be a money-back period. The subscription-based products will be updated from time to time.

When it does not concern a subscription-based product, you can make use of the one specific product you have purchased. Those types of products can, but not necessarily will be, updated.

The prices for each course are indicated on the Enrollment Page. You will have to pay for the product in the currency quoted on the website, namely in United States Dollars (USD).

You can purchase the products by filling out the required details, and then following the payment procedure. If you pay by credit card, your credit card details will be authorized. If, for whatever reason, the (credit card) payment does not lead to a successful payment, we will notify you thereof and you will have to pay the fees by bank transfer into our account within a payment term of ten days.

You can access your product by logging in on your account. In case you have lost your login details, you can reset them via the ‘Lost your password’ link below the login area or by contacting us via info@encorepic.com and we will help you recover them.

You are entitled to use the products for your own professional purposes. You are entitled to disclose the products in the context of your own professional purposes, but to your clients only.

You are not entitled to resell or republish any product yourself, for example by copying it and making it available to other persons or parties for their use or further exploitation. You are also not entitled to modify a product, or to copy or disclose it other than in the context of your own professional purposes relating to your services to your clients. Not complying with this constitutes an infringement of our intellectual property rights for which you can be held liable.

Purchasing a product does not give you any title or right therein other than as expressed above. The intellectual property rights to the products always remain with us.

 

The student center is where you can find the instruction. There are notes, exercises, audio, and video associated with each training module as well. We do not send books or films by mail.

The products and content on our website are provided on an ‘as is’ basis.

We make no warranties with regard to our products or content, including advice, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim and negate all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of accuracy, completeness, actuality, likely results, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. The products and content may include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Furthermore, we do not warrant or make any representations concerning the content on any sites linked to our website.

You are responsible for the manner in which you use our products and content.

We may make changes to the products and content on our website at any time without notice.

Account FAQS

You can sign up for an account by filling out your personal details on the registration page on the website. Please make sure the information you fill out is complete, accurate and up-to-date.

In order to access your account, you will have to enter your username and password. You can update your information at any time through your account, including your username and password.

Your login details (username and password) are strictly personal. Your account can only be used by you. Please keep your login details confidential and do not share them with anyone. If you have reason to believe that your login details or account is or are compromised, please inform us as soon as possible. You will have to change your login details immediately to prevent unauthorized access to your account.

You can close your account at any time, as indicated on the website.

Please note however that if you have purchased a subscription-based product, the subscription fee is paid for the entire subscription period; you will therefore not get a (partial) refund when you close your account during the subscription period.

Yes.

We may block your account and terminate your subscription in the following case:

  • When you do not comply with the Terms and Conditions;
  • When you do not comply with any the payment term or conditions;
  • When you are granted moratorium of payment or a similar provision under applicable laws, declared bankrupt, or cease to carry out your business;
  • When your log in details and/or your account have been compromised more than three times;
  • When there are good grounds for use to believe that your actions may cause damage to us or to other users of our website, for example because you have lost your certification or practitioner’s license or have been convicted of a crime;
  • When we decide to no longer offer our products and/or decide to close down the website (we will notify you of this).
  • After we have blocked your account, you will no longer be able to access it and make use of the products you have purchased.

refund FAQS

Once your payment or deposit has been made and you have accessed your course or the student center, there are no refunds given. Upon paying for the course or making a deposit, you have access to the materials and resources, therefore, you may not request a refund. If you have not paid for the course, made a deposit, or accessed the course and the student center and you are not completely satisfied, you can receive a full refund during the money-back guarantee period of 7 (business) days.

Refunds will always be in US Dollars. If there is a currency fluctuation, this will not affect the amount of the refund, we always pay back the same amount, in the same currency, for which you purchased the product. 

By choosing to purchase this program, you understand and agree that you have 7 (business) days in which to receive a full refund.

A request for refunds must be made in writing and emailed to info@encorepic.com. Please include your full name and the email address used for PayPal. You may also request to cancel any remaining payments in the email.

 

Program Completion FAQS

To complete the program, you must read, review and study the material in each training module and pass the quiz with, at least, a score of 70.

As previously mentioned, everyone is unique. However, to complete the program within nine weeks, it is ideal to engage 3-5 hours per week (Approximately 2.5 hours of video watch time and 1-3 hours of completing exercises, engaging with other students, reviewing learning material, etc.)

Upon joining, you have a one-year membership. If you have not completed the program within one year, you will be required re-enroll and pay the updated enrollment fee.

You will have access to the learning material three months after you are issued a certification.

If you wish to have access to the student center after this time, you may pay $250 per year. Your yearly membership includes the Business and Marketing training module, as well as other tools, exercise, valuable tips to start your coaching business and more.

Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a “Life Coach” or “Professional Coach” certification, depending on which program you complete.

Program Approval FAQS

The ICF accepts only live or live-online trainings. Therefore, the self-paced coaching programs here at E.P.I.C. are not approved by the ICF.

No, the coaching industry does not require regulation. There is no credentialing board that endorses certification for you to become a life coach, professional coach, business, spiritual coach, etc. in the United States.

The International Coach Federation (ICF) independent group that seeks to oversee and regulate coaching. Although they have no legal authority to do so, they are regarded as the most well-known group in the coaching industry.

As a coach, you will have more credibility with customers if you have training and certification. Be mindful that over 95% of clients won’t be familiar with the ICF and will be more interested in your certification and training than regulating bodies.

We may revise these Terms and Conditions (please make this a link to the terms and conditions for courses). We will make the revised Terms and Conditions available on our website the next time you purchase a product on our website.

Apart from the other things we ask of you in these Terms and Conditions (please make this a link to the terms and conditions for the website):

  • When you contribute to our website, for example in the online community, we expect you to contribute true, accurate and complete information, that you communicate with other members in a proper manner, and that you do not contribute any information or material that is in violation of applicable laws, generally accepted moral standards or ethics.
  • When you use content from our website, for example, information from our knowledge database or information contributed by us or by other users in the community, we expect you to only use this for your own professional purposes in the context of your practice. You are not allowed to copy or disclose it otherwise without our consent, or without the specific contributor’s consent. You may, under applicable copyright laws, be entitled to make publish certain content which has been contributed by us, e.g. for citation purposes. In that case, we ask that you quote our website and the respective contributor as the source.
  • You are not allowed to publicly disclose the names, other personal details and/or content of persons contributing to our website without their prior consent. Please keep this information confidential.
  • You are also not entitled to remove our logo or other intellectual property from any product, images, information or other content.
  • If we get a claim from a third party in relation to the content you have contributed, or otherwise in relation to not complying with these Terms and Conditions or another term or condition agreed with us, you must pay the reasonable costs we have made in relation to such a claim.
  • In case a provision from these Terms and Conditions is not valid, this does not affect the validity of the other provisions. The affected provision will be deemed replaced by a valid provision which is closest to the intention of the original provision.
  • When you are not established in the United States, you agree these Terms and Conditions. Summarized, you are bound to these Terms and Conditions, even if you have not actually reviewed its contents and that we have given you the opportunity to take note of them, by making them available on our website for downloading.
  • In case we wish to transfer our business in whole or in part to another party, you consent to this transfer in advance.

In case you have a complaint, you can notify us thereof (via info@encorepic.com). We will try to handle your complaint to your satisfaction as soon as possible.

Technical FAQS

It can seem obvious and you may already have one, but a functioning computer or a tablet is a must. Whether it is a desktop or a laptop, any computer will do and will allow you to take your Topics in an efficient online environment. 

Nevertheless, E.P.I.C. Topics work well with Windows and iOS so don’t worry about which software you are using. Just make sure you have a great Wi-Fi connection. However, it may be possible that your connection is slow or you don’t have access to a Wi-Fi connection. If this is the case, there are other available options such as coffee shops, co-working spaces, individual rooms in libraries, etc. where you can easily have access to the internet without connectivity issues. If your computer has Windows, getting an advanced version is recommended. E.P.I.C. only works with devices from Windows 7 and macOS X Yosemite onwards. These browsers’ updates are mandatory.

If you have purchased a product, we store your personal information as long as you have an account with us. The reason for this being that we will have to notify you when a product is updated. When you close your account, your personal information will be removed, save for information we are required to store pursuant to tax laws in the United States, such as information relating to your purchase and transactions and our financial obligations during a period of seven years.

 

The information you contribute to the community, as well as your user-name and profile information, will be shown to other users as long as we offer the community services and as long as the information is relevant for the community.

Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible.
